The house itself sits just right – not too close to the road but not buried so deep you’ll get lost trying to find it in the dark.

The jacuzzi situation is actually what sold me on this place, and honestly, it delivers. It’s properly private, tucked into this little corner where you can soak and watch the mountains change color as the sun sets. The water temperature stays consistent (trust me, I tested this multiple times), and there’s none of that weird chemical smell you sometimes get. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets in the evenings – Zębie isn’t exactly bustling anyway, but up here you mostly just hear the wind through the trees and maybe some distant cow bells if the weather’s right. The indoor space feels surprisingly spacious for a mountain retreat, and they’ve actually got decent heating, which matters more than you’d think if you’re visiting outside summer months.

Here’s the thing about staying in Zębie – you’re close enough to Zakopane (maybe 15 minutes by car) to hit the main attractions, but far enough out that you escape the tourist crowds that can make the town center feel like a theme park during peak season. The local bus does run along the main road, though not super frequently, so having a car definitely makes life easier. I actually ended up loving the morning walks down toward the village center – there’s this little bakery that opens early, and the bread situation is genuinely excellent. Parking at the house is straightforward, no stress about finding a spot or navigating narrow mountain roads. The whole setup just works, you know? It’s one of those places where someone clearly thought through what actual guests would need rather than just cramming in fancy stuff that looks good in photos. The 10 rating makes perfect sense once you’ve been there – it’s not trying to be a luxury resort, it’s just really, really good at being exactly what it promises to be.
