Parking’s right there (which matters when you’re hauling hiking gear or groceries from town), and the check-in was refreshingly straightforward – none of that awkward small talk when you just want to drop your bags and explore.

Here’s the thing about this area that most tourists miss – Miłków isn’t just some random village you pass through. It’s actually got this quiet charm where you’ll see locals walking their dogs on forest paths that connect to serious hiking trails. The house gives you the best of both worlds: you can walk out the door and be on mountain trails within minutes, or drive down to Karpacz when you want proper restaurants and that whole ski resort scene. I stayed here in late spring, and honestly, I can’t imagine a better base for exploring the Karkonosze region.
