Overview
You know what struck me first about Dom Górski? It’s tucked away on this quiet side street in Karpacz, and honestly, from the outside you might walk right past it thinking it’s just another mountain house. I mean, it’s got that classic Karkonosze architecture going on – sort of blends right into the neighborhood near the old funicular station. But here’s the thing about this place that completely caught me off guard: despite being a simple 2-star spot, they’ve managed to nail all the stuff that actually matters when you’re tired from hiking the Śnieżka trail or just want somewhere genuine to crash.
The rooms are… well, they’re not fancy, but they’re exactly what you’d want after a day exploring the Giant Mountains. Clean, warm (important when those mountain winds pick up), and the beds are surprisingly comfortable – I actually slept better here than at some of the flashier places up the hill. What really gets me is how the owners seem to understand travelers. They’ve got this little breakfast setup that feels more like eating at someone’s kitchen table than a hotel dining room, and the coffee is strong enough to fuel your morning hike to Kopa. Plus, parking is right there – no hunting around the narrow streets or paying extra fees like you do closer to the main pedestrian area. I noticed they keep the place quiet too; you won’t get woken up by drunk tourists stumbling back from the bars on Konstytucji 3 Maja.
Location-wise, it’s actually perfect if you know Karpacz at all. You’re maybe a seven-minute walk from the Wang Church (which, let’s be honest, everyone ends up visiting), but far enough from the weekend chaos around the main square that you can actually relax. The local bus stop is practically around the corner if you want to head up to the ski lifts without dealing with parking up there. What I really appreciate is that you’re in a proper residential area – there’s a little grocery store nearby where locals shop, not just tourist stuff, and you can grab a decent pierogi at this family place down the street that doesn’t even have an English menu. The 9.3 rating makes total sense once you spend a night here – it’s not trying to be something it’s not, but what it does, it does really well. If you’re looking for a spa and room service, keep looking. But if you want a clean, honest place run by people who actually care, and you’d rather spend your money on mountain adventures than fancy hotel amenities, Dom Górski gets it right.

The location is great. The hotel is clean, calm and home-cozy. What I liked is the hotel has a style in each detail. It has a great view from the kitchen ,and if you get a room with a view. We had a room from the side. It has a parking, but from the back.
You get tea and coffee(instant) at the room with a teapot,mugs. Guests have access to the kitchen all day long,where they have tea,coffee(instant, the coffeemachine is available only during breakfast), something sweet,fruits, ice.
What could be improved: Not minuses,but something to know beforehand. We got the vibe of the hotel by the end. So, it is home-like, if you need anything,just tell the lady.
During breakfast you get only one hot dish (eggs or sausage), but the buffet is full. You must bear in mind,it is not a chain-hotel breakfast, so you may get a salad, or pickled mushrooms.
There are no shower gels,shampoos, so take yours.
The door to the terrace is closed after the breakfast, so if you need to sit outside,use the door near the entrance. This point was a bit inconvenient, so if I want to get some tea and read or write something outside,you need to make a circle.

AMAZING! this place exceeded our expectation. The staff and hosts were very friendly and helpful and they were always smiling. The location was also perfect, in the middle of Karpacz, close to the centre. The views from the terrace were beyond our expectations. The price was very reasonable and breakfast is very tasty! Thank you!! Will definitely come back next year! :)

good looking room and good hotel location
What could be improved: the has no ac and is exposed to the sun so it was very hot during the day and night

Fabulous view from the Mountain View room. Bathroom was really good too with excellent shower.
What could be improved: No food or drink options available other than breakfast. Was expensive too for a hotel without restaurant or bar facilities.

Great location, close to different stores, cafes, restaurants and 7-10 minutes drive to some ski slopes. We had pretty big room with a good bed, a big wardrobe, a kettle, cups, teabags in. There is a free parking place for guests. Access to the kitchen stuff and even some sweet treats during the day. And a friendly owner .
What could be improved: We got pretty dirty, not fresh towels. There was a spider in a shower cabin, no disposable cosmetics, only a hand soap. Floor under the carpet should be cleaned better. The TV channels didn't work properly, it was impossible to watch something. Poor breakfast, the same food each day which is good only for making sandwiches.

Obiekt nowoczesny, zadbany, o przyjemnym wystroju. Położony blisko deptaka. Dobre śniadania bufetowe. Wygodny bezpłatny parking.
