Just got back from Diamond Resort White in Bukovel, and the impressions are quite positive. This four-star hotel is located on uchastok Staishche, which is a bit away from the main resort hustle — and that’s actually better, because it’s quiet and peaceful at night. Parking is free and there are always spots available, which is a real blessing for Bukovel. Check-in went smoothly, the staff is friendly and speaks Ukrainian without an accent.
The rooms are quite spacious, with nice mountain views (if you’re lucky with the location). The furniture isn’t brand new, but everything is clean and functional. Wi-Fi works stably, which is important for those who can’t completely disconnect from work. In the bathroom, hot water was always available, though the pressure is sometimes a bit weak — a typical problem with mountain hotels. Breakfasts are decent, although the variety could be expanded a bit; but the coffee is tasty, and the scrambled eggs are always fresh.
The main advantage is the location for skiing. It’s a 10-15 minute leisurely walk to the lift, but the hotel provides free shuttle service several times a day, which is very convenient with heavy equipment. In winter, it’s a real fairy tale around here, and in summer it’s also beautiful — you can go hiking in the mountains or just enjoy the clean air on the terrace. The price-quality ratio is quite reasonable for Bukovel, especially if you book in advance. I’d come back here again, especially when traveling with a group — they have rooms for large parties.
