Diamond De Luxe turned out to be a pleasant discovery in Kolomiya — a three-star hotel that truly lives up to its name. When I arrived there last spring, I immediately noticed that the building looked freshly renovated, and the reception staff spoke English (which isn’t always a given in Kolomiya). The room was spacious and clean, with a decent view of Valova Street — though if you’re sensitive to noise, better ask for a room away from the road, as morning traffic can be quite lively.
What I particularly enjoyed was breakfast at the hotel restaurant. Nothing extraordinary, but everything was fresh and tasty, plus there’s always a choice between Ukrainian dishes and European options. The staff was very helpful with advice about local attractions — they’re the ones who told me where to find the best Hutsul souvenirs near the hotel. Parking is right by the building, which is very convenient, especially if you’re traveling by car through the Carpathian region. The only downside — WiFi sometimes failed during evening hours, but that’s probably a general area issue rather than the hotel’s fault. For this price and level of service, I definitely recommend it, especially if you’re planning to explore Kolomiya and the surrounding area.
Hotels in Bukovel offer convenient access to ski slopes, where guests can easily reach chairlifts, spa centers, and authentic Hutsul restaurants.
