It’s tucked right on Gimnazjalna Street in Karpacz, which puts you in this sweet spot where you’re close enough to hear the town waking up in the morning, but far enough from the main tourist chaos that you can actually sleep through the night.

The apartment itself feels like someone’s stylish cousin decided to rent out their place – and I mean that in the best way possible. There’s this attention to detail that you don’t usually get in rental properties, like they actually thought about how the lighting works in the evening or where you’d want to put your coffee cup while you’re getting ready. The whole setup just works, you know? I mean, sure, it’s not going to blow your mind with luxury, but everything feels intentional rather than thrown together. The kitchen situation is solid too – actually functional if you want to grab groceries from the local spots and cook something instead of eating out every night, which honestly gets expensive in Karpacz pretty quickly.

There’s this grocery store about a three-minute walk away that saved me multiple times, and the parking situation (which, let’s be honest, can be a nightmare in mountain towns) was refreshingly straightforward. The 8.9 rating makes sense once you’ve been there – it’s not trying to be something it’s not, but what it does, it does really well. Plus, there’s something to be said for waking up in a place where you can see the mountains without craning your neck out a tiny window or fighting crowds for the view.
