Cottage Lavanda окремий котедж з каміном is a real gem for those who want to experience genuine mountain romance in Bukovel. When I arrived here last winter, I immediately understood this wasn’t just a regular hotel — it’s your own little house among the Carpathians. The four-star service level is felt in every detail: from quality bed linens to the thoughtfully designed interior. The fireplace (which, by the way, is real!) creates an incredible atmosphere — especially after a day on the slopes when you need to warm up with a cup of hot tea.
The location on Prokhidny is simply perfect — close enough to the lifts (10-15 minutes on foot), but at the same time in a quiet spot where you wake up in the morning not to tourist noise, but to birds singing. Parking is right next to the cottage, which is very convenient, especially in winter when you don’t want to drag skis far. The hosts are pleasant people who genuinely care about their guests: the Wi-Fi works stably (which isn’t always obvious in the mountains), and everything needed for cooking is available in the kitchen. In summer, it’s probably even better here — you can sit on the terrace admiring the mountain views, and there’s even a grill for barbecue.
What I especially liked was the feeling of homey coziness. There’s no hotel formality here, instead there’s the warmth of a genuine mountain retreat. The rooms are spacious, everything is clean, hot water is always available (which, believe me, isn’t everywhere in Bukovel). The only nuance — in winter it’s better to bring warmer clothes for sleeping, because old mountain houses can be cooler than hotels. But this adds authenticity rather than spoiling the impression. For this price and with this level of comfort — I definitely recommend it, especially if you’re traveling with a group or family.
