Just got back from Cottage “Kliverent” in Yaremche, and I can say it’s truly a cozy place for a Carpathian getaway. This four-star cottage is located on Partizanska Street, a bit away from the city center, which is actually a plus — quiet at night, but you can easily walk to the main attractions in 10-15 minutes. Parking is free right by the cottage, which is very convenient, especially if you come by car (and most people do, since public transport isn’t great here).
The cottage itself looks like a real mountain cabin — wooden beams, cozy interior, large windows with forest views. The rooms are spacious and clean, hot water is always available, which isn’t always guaranteed in mountain hotels. The hosts are very friendly, they greet you personally and tell you about the best hiking routes — that was unexpectedly nice. Breakfasts are homemade with local products; I especially loved the brynza cheese and honey (probably from their own apiary). Wi-Fi works steadily, though in the mountains that’s not always a priority.
In winter it’s probably even better — close to the ski lifts, and in summer you can just enjoy the fresh air and peace. The only downside — mornings can be chilly even in summer, so a warm sweater wouldn’t hurt. For the price-quality ratio, Cottage “Kliverent” is definitely worth considering, especially if you’re looking for genuine mountain atmosphere without unnecessary pretense.
Bukovel hotels range from luxurious mountain resorts to cozy lodges with breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks and alpine meadows.
