Cottage Diamant Y&M turned out to be a real gem in Palyanytsya — we ended up here almost by accident, looking for something cozy for a weekend in the mountains. This four-star hotel is located a bit off the main road (Прелуки 55), which initially seemed inconvenient, but it’s actually a big plus — it’s quiet even at night, just the sound of a mountain stream somewhere nearby. Parking is free right at the entrance, though there aren’t that many spots, so it’s better to arrive before evening. Check-in went smoothly, the staff is friendly and ready to suggest hiking routes — you can immediately tell that these people live here and know the area.
The rooms are quite spacious, with wooden elements in the decor that add mountain charm. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the forests — especially beautiful in the morning when the fog hasn’t lifted yet. Breakfast is served in a small restaurant on the first floor, nothing extraordinary, but tasty and filling (borscht, cheese pancakes, homemade bread). In summer it’s probably even better — there’s a terrace for outdoor relaxation. Wi-Fi works stable, hot water is always available, though the shower pressure isn’t the strongest. Overall, if you’re looking for a peaceful place to rest in the mountains without excessive luxury pretensions — Cottage Diamant Y&M will fully meet expectations, especially for this price.
