It’s actually tucked away on Tatary Street in a way that feels intentional – like they wanted to give you that mountain retreat vibe without dumping you in the middle of tourist chaos. I mean, you’re still close enough to walk into the main part of Zakopane when you want those highland cheese oscypek or a proper meal, but far enough that you’re not dealing with the constant hum of tour buses at 7 AM.
The whole place has this authentic Tatra mountain feel that’s hard to fake. You can tell they put thought into the wood details and local touches without going overboard with the folksy stuff (honestly, some places in Zakopane really lean into the kitsch). The rooms are solid – well, better than solid actually. Everything works the way it should, the heating keeps up with those mountain nights, and the beds are properly comfortable after a day of hiking or skiing. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night. You’re far enough from the main drag that you actually hear the mountain sounds instead of late-night revelers stumbling back from the pubs.
The staff genuinely knows the area, which makes a difference when you’re trying to figure out which trails are worth your time or where to catch the best views without fighting crowds. They’ll point you toward spots that aren’t in every guidebook – like the better walking paths that connect back toward Krupówki without all the tourist bottlenecks. Parking’s straightforward too, which anyone who’s driven around Zakopane during peak season will tell you is not something to take for granted. The 9-star rating honestly makes sense once you’ve stayed there. It’s not trying to be some glossy resort – it’s just really good at being what mountain accommodation should be. Clean, comfortable, genuinely welcoming, with that solid feeling that comes from people who actually care about what they’re doing rather than just going through the motions.

Very nice owner, always smiling and willing to help, he makes you feel like home. Good quite location, still not far from the center - about 20 minutes walking or 5 minutes driving. The house is nice and cosy both inside and outside. It's equipped with almost everything you could need. Two bathrooms are a great advantage for a family. Internet...
