This little gem sits on Robotnicza street in Bukowiec – and before you worry about finding it, it’s actually super easy to get to from Karpacz (just a few minutes by car). The thing is, you get all the mountain charm without the tourist chaos that can make Karpacz feel a bit overwhelming during peak season.

The moment I pulled up, I could tell this wasn’t your typical mountain lodge. The owners – and I mean this in the most genuine way – actually care about the details. My room had this perfect mix of traditional mountain style and modern comfort that you rarely find. The wooden elements felt authentic, not like some designer’s idea of “rustic chic,” and honestly, the bed was one of those you sink into after a long day hiking the trails around Śnieżka. What really got me though was how quiet it stays at night. You’re close enough to everything but far enough from the main tourist strips that you actually hear the forest, not traffic. The rating of 9.7 makes complete sense once you experience their approach to hospitality – it’s personal without being intrusive, if that makes sense.

Here’s what I think sets this place apart from other mountain accommodations: the location gives you the best of both worlds. You can walk to local spots that most tourists never discover (there’s this incredible trail that starts practically from the property), but you’re still just minutes from Karpacz when you want restaurants or the cable car up to Śnieżka. Parking was never an issue – which, trust me, matters a lot around here during summer and ski season. The check-in was refreshingly straightforward, none of that awkward hovering while they explain seventeen different breakfast options. I mean, they clearly know what they’re doing and have been doing it well for a while. The whole experience felt like staying with mountain-savvy friends who happen to run an incredibly well-organized guesthouse. If you’re looking for authentic Sudeten mountain experience without sacrificing comfort, this is honestly one of the better choices I’ve found in the area.
