It’s actually in this really charming spot on Strada Maior Ion Cranța – I mean, the street name sounds intimidating, but it’s honestly one of those quiet residential roads where you can hear church bells in the morning instead of traffic. The apartment itself is on the third floor, and yeah, there’s no elevator, but the climb is totally worth it once you see how much space you get. I’ve stayed in plenty of “apartments” that turned out to be glorified hotel rooms, but this place feels like someone’s actual home – well, if someone had really good taste in furniture and knew exactly what travelers need.
The location is sort of perfect in that sneaky way where you’re close to everything but not drowning in tourists. You’re literally a five-minute walk from the old town center, but far enough away that you won’t hear drunk groups stumbling back at 2 AM. There’s this little bakery around the corner that opens early – honestly, the smell of fresh bread drifting up to the apartment windows is better than any alarm clock. What really impressed me was how the owner clearly knows Brașov inside and out; they left this handwritten guide with actual local recommendations, not just the obvious tourist spots. I mean, where else would you learn about the best papanași in town or which hiking trail has the least crowds?
The apartment itself hits that sweet spot between authentic and practical – you’ve got original hardwood floors and these beautiful high ceilings that make you feel like you’re living in old Europe, but also modern WiFi that actually works and a kitchen stocked with decent coffee. The bed is comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up feeling like I’d been wrestling with springs all night, and there’s proper blackout curtains if you’re dealing with jet lag. Honestly, the 9.7 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there a few days. It’s not flashy or trying too hard to impress – it just works really well for people who want to experience Brașov like they live there, not like they’re passing through. The only minor thing is that the shower pressure could be stronger, but that’s pretty typical for older buildings in this part of Romania. I’d definitely book it again, especially if I was staying more than a couple nights and wanted somewhere that felt like home base rather than just a place to crash.

It is situated in a beautiful, calm and green area of the city 10-15 minutes from the center. The lady contacting us was very nice, friendly, explained everything clearly. It was easy to get in the flat. The flat was sparkling clean with a dishwasher and a washing machine. The two bedrooms were cozy, comfortable. I loved the pale yellow and greenish colors of the living room and the kitchen and their spaciousness. The balcony was spacious, offered clear air and wonderful view. As a matter of fact I loved everything!
Highly enjoyed our stay here. We were two families - including one pregnant woman, and one newborn. It's a cozy, warm, sunny apartment, in a quiet area, but also central, in proximity to city's old center (max 10 min walk) and a supermarket (Lidl) from where you can buy groceries. The apartment has everything you might need, including ustensils for cooking, and there was also a crib available. Blackout curtains in the bedrooms. Parking space right in front of the building, plus more public parking spaces available nearby on the street in case needed.

Easy to find location, apartment was super clean. Also, it is really big, we were 3 adults and a dog, and had enough space to relax (there was plenty of room left for more people).

The apartment has all the facilities you need (dish washing machine, laundry machine, nesspresso pods, we even had a big bottle of shower gel in the bathroom!) It's like staying in your own home, but away.
A big advantage is the parking spot, 3 meters from the entrance.

The appartment was amazing — clean, well-equipped, spacious and very cosy with a warm atmosphere, ideal for relaxing evenings after a long day exploring the city. It is very close to the center, which my in-laws appreciated and found very convenient as they are both over 60. The balcony offers an amazing view of the city and is very nice for morning coffees in the fresh air.
The host is simply lovely — she is very responsive, proactive and helpful, having given us very clear instructions on how to find our way around smoothly.

It is perfect for a family of 4. Well equipped, clean, cute design, cozy, good neighborhood. Great location, 8 min away from Cetatuia de pe straja (Brașov Citadelle) and 10min from the Old Town, walking distance. The host, Victoria, was very responsive to our needs and guided us throughout our stay.

We loved the location and the view. The apartment had all utensils and it was very clean.
O alegere excelenta pentru o familie cu copil/copii, un apartament foarte spatios in ceea ce priveste spatiul comun (holul, bucataria si livingul sunt open space, cu mult spatiu de explorat si joaca), 2 dormitoare separate si o baie mare. Exista si un patut foarte confortabil pentru cei mici, pentru noi a fost un mare plus.
De asemenea, are o terasa generoasa, dar era frig si nu am putut profita de ea, insa ne-am bucurat de privelistea frumoasa.
Curatenie buna, bucataria dotata cu tot ce ati putea avea nevoie intr-o vacanta si comunicare foarte buna cu gazda pe Whatsapp, check in independent.
Foarte aproape de centrul vechi, zona frumoasa.
