Castle Belvedere

Castle Belvedere turned out to be a pleasant surprise during our ski trip to Bukovel. This three-star hotel is located on Karpatskaya Street, a bit away from the main resort hustle, which actually became a big plus — quiet at night, but still close to the lifts (about 10 minutes on foot). Parking is free and quite spacious, though on peak days it’s better to arrive earlier. Check-in went smoothly, the staff is friendly and speaks Ukrainian, which is always nice.

The rooms are clean and cozy, though not luxurious — but that’s exactly what you need after a day on the slopes. Hot water is available constantly (we checked!), heating works well, WiFi also works fine. Our room had a nice mountain view, especially beautiful in the morning. Breakfast is served in a small restaurant — nothing special, but hearty and tasty, with traditional Carpathian dishes available. One downside — the walls are a bit thin, so if neighbors are noisy, it might disturb your sleep. In winter the hotel operates at full capacity, in summer it’s a bit quieter but also wonderful — you can enjoy the mountain air and hiking. For the money (especially off-season) this is really a good option for Bukovel.
