The location is actually perfect if you know the area – you’re far enough from the tourist crowds that you can hear yourself think, but close enough that you can walk to Council Square when you want that medieval atmosphere. The parking situation is sorted (trust me, this matters in Braşov), the WiFi doesn’t cut out every five minutes, and the breakfast spread is solid without trying to be something it’s not. You can tell they’ve thought about the small stuff that makes a difference after a long day of exploring the Carpathians or wandering through the old fortifications. The fact that they’re pulling a 9.3 rating makes total sense once you stay there – it’s not about luxury, it’s about getting the fundamentals right and then adding those little touches that show they care. If you’re looking for a place that delivers on its promises without the tourist trap pricing, and you want to experience Braşov from a more authentic vantage point, Casa Moritz is definitely worth booking.
