The parking situation is fantastic (and free, which is always a win), so you don’t have to worry about finding a spot after a long day of driving through the Carpathians. I mean, it’s one of those places where couples seem to really connect with the peaceful atmosphere — and I can see why.

The Room Experience

My room was honestly better than I expected for a smaller Romanian property. Everything felt fresh and modern, but they’ve kept some traditional touches that remind you where you are. The bed was comfortable enough that I actually slept through the night (which doesn’t always happen when I’m traveling), and the bathroom had good water pressure — trust me, that matters after hiking in the mountains. Breakfast had a nice mix of Romanian and international options, though I’d recommend sticking with the local specialties.
