Carpathians View turned out to be a real gem during my recent vacation in the Carpathians. This four-star hotel is located on Nezalezhnosti Street in Krivopolʼye — a small town that became the perfect base for mountain hiking. The staff greeted us very warmly, check-in was quick (even a bit earlier than the official time), and from our room window we had an incredible view of the Carpathian ridges — especially beautiful in the morning when the fog slowly dispersed over the peaks.
The rooms here are truly comfortable, with everything needed for relaxation after long walks. I especially liked the bathroom — modern fixtures, and there was always enough hot water. Breakfasts were varied, with local dishes (definitely try the banush!), and in the evening at the restaurant you could taste authentic Carpathian delicacies. Parking is free, which is very convenient for those arriving by car — the lot is quite spacious, we found a spot even on weekends. The staff gladly recommended the best hiking routes, where to buy local souvenirs, and even helped organize transfers to the nearest waterfalls.
The only thing worth mentioning — evenings can be a bit noisy due to music from the restaurant, but this didn’t last long, and the overall impression of the hotel remained wonderful. In winter it’s probably especially cozy here, judging by the fireplace in the lobby and warm atmosphere. Overall, the 8.0 rating is well deserved — Carpathians View is truly worth considering for those who want to experience the beauty of the Ukrainian Carpathians without sacrificing comfort.
