Boiko house – котедж з чаном-джакузі turned out to be a real gem for our winter getaway in Slavske. When we arrived in the evening after a long drive, the hosts greeted us very warmly and quickly showed us around the cottage — everything looked exactly like in the photos, only even cozier. This is a four-star establishment, but the atmosphere here is homey, without unnecessary pompousness. What impressed me most was that famous hot tub on the terrace — imagine sitting in hot water while surrounded by snowy Carpathian peaks and a starry sky. Parking is right next to the cottage, which is very convenient, especially when you’re carrying skis and lots of stuff.

Inside, everything is thought out to the smallest detail: the kitchen is fully equipped (we cooked breakfasts ourselves), the bedrooms are spacious, and the living room with fireplace creates an incredible mood in the evenings. WiFi worked stable, which is important for those who can’t completely disconnect from work. It’s about a fifteen-minute leisurely walk to the ski lifts, or three minutes by car — perfect for skiers. The only nuance: the walls aren’t very thick, so if neighboring cottages are occupied by noisy groups, it can get a bit loud, but we were lucky with the quiet.

The hosts live nearby and are always available, but they don’t impose — they know when help is needed and when it’s better not to disturb guests. The price for such location and amenities is quite reasonable, especially if you’re traveling with a group of 4-6 people. It’s magical here in winter, but I think summer would be wonderful too — forests all around, clean air, and the hot tub can be used as a regular jacuzzi after mountain hikes. We’ll definitely return here again, maybe even for longer holidays.
