I stayed here last summer with my family, and it was a wonderful experience at this three-star hotel. Located on Hrushevskoho Street in the heart of Skhidnitsa, the hotel is just a few minutes’ walk from the main mineral springs — very convenient for morning treatments. There’s parking available, though spots aren’t always easy to find (better to arrive before 6 PM). Check-in was quick, staff friendly and ready to help with information about local hiking routes.
The rooms are clean and cozy, though the furniture is a bit dated — but that actually adds a certain charm. I especially loved the terrace with mountain views, where we spent evenings with hot tea. Soundproofing is decent, though early morning you can hear birds singing (which is actually quite lovely). Wi-Fi works well in the lobby, a bit weaker in the rooms. Breakfasts are homestyle, nothing fancy but tasty — especially the dairy products from local farmers. Staff told us that winter is particularly beautiful here, when everything’s covered in snow and the windows offer a fairytale view of the snow-capped Carpathians.
Overall, this place is perfect for a peaceful getaway for those who value nature over luxury. By the way, if you’re planning hiking trips, the hosts can recommend the best trails — they’re real local experts. The 8.0 rating is well-deserved, I’ll definitely be back!
