Barn Village turned out to be a real gem during our ski trip to the Carpathians! Located right in the heart of Bukovel, this three-star hotel impresses with its cozy atmosphere and thoughtful details. Check-in went smoothly — the staff is very friendly and speaks Ukrainian, which is nice. Parking is free, though during peak days you have to search for a spot a bit (arrive before 4 PM if you can).
The rooms are quite spacious for a three-star hotel, with beautiful mountain views through large windows. We were lucky to get the second floor — the view from there is absolutely magical! Breakfasts are delicious, especially loved the homemade syrniki and Hutsul cheese. The staff told us that in winter it’s particularly cozy because of the fireplaces in the lobby, but summer is wonderful too — you can hike into the mountains right from the hotel. WiFi works stable even on upper floors, which is important for those who can’t completely disconnect from work.
The only downside — somewhat thin walls, so if neighbors are noisy, it can get a bit loud in the evenings. But overall for this price and in such a location — excellent choice! It’s close to the lifts and shops are within walking distance too. Barn Village definitely deserves its 8.0 rating, and we’re already planning to return here next winter.
