The check-in was smooth, no awkward key-passing ceremonies or confusing instructions – just clear communication and everything ready when promised. I stayed during shoulder season in late spring, and while I imagine it gets busier in peak winter ski season or summer hiking months, the location on Stary Bór feels residential enough that you’re not dealing with constant tourist traffic. You know what? If you’re the type who needs to be walking distance from restaurants and nightlife, this probably isn’t your spot. But if you want somewhere that feels like a proper retreat where you can actually hear yourself think – and soak in that jacuzzi while planning your next day’s adventure to Morskie Oko or just enjoying the mountain air – it’s pretty much exactly what you’d hope to find tucked away in the Polish Tatras.
