Багрівчанка turned out to be a pleasant surprise during our trip to Yaremche last summer. This four-star hotel is located on Partizanska Street, literally a five-minute walk from the center — very convenient for strolls to Probiy waterfall or the local market for souvenirs. Parking is free (which is rare during high season!), though spots aren’t always available, so it’s better to arrive before evening. Check-in went smoothly, staff is friendly and ready to help with Carpathian routes.
The rooms are quite spacious, with nice mountain views — especially beautiful in the morning when fog slowly disperses over the peaks. Furniture is a bit old, but everything is clean and functional, air conditioning works without complaints. The bathroom always had hot water, which is very important after long hikes. Breakfasts are decent — traditional Ukrainian cuisine with homemade jams and fresh pastries, though the selection isn’t very large. Wi-Fi works throughout the hotel, speed is fine for uploading photos to social media.
What I particularly liked was the nighttime quiet (despite being close to the center) and the ability to organize excursions directly through the hotel. The hosts know all the best routes and can suggest where to try authentic Hutsul cuisine. Hotel Багрівчанка is a good choice for those who want to rest comfortably in the Carpathians without overpaying for unnecessary luxury. The 8.0 rating is well deserved — we’d return here again.
Travelers should book a hotel in Bukovel at least two months ahead for major events such as ski competitions and mountain festivals, ensuring the best rates and prime locations near popular mountain attractions.
