You’re close enough to walk into the historic center – maybe ten minutes to Liberății Square – but far enough from the main drag that you’re not dealing with street noise at night. Parking was never an issue, which, honestly, can be a real headache in some Romanian towns. I stayed here during shoulder season in late spring, so I can’t speak to how busy it gets in summer, but the whole vibe felt relaxed and unhurried. The breakfast spread was better than expected too – proper local cheese and bread alongside the usual hotel fare, plus decent coffee that doesn’t taste like it’s been sitting around for hours. It’s one of those places where you can tell the owners actually stay here themselves sometimes – everything just works the way it should, without any of those little frustrations that pile up at lesser hotels.
