Located right on Jagiellońska Street – which, if you know Zakopane at all, puts you in this sweet spot where you’re close enough to walk to Krupówki (the main drag) but far enough away that you’re not dealing with the tourist chaos every time you step outside.

The apartments themselves are actually pretty solid for a 3-star place. I mean, they’ve got this modern-ish vibe going on, nothing too fancy but definitely clean and functional. The kitchenettes are surprisingly well-equipped – I was able to make proper coffee in the morning, which honestly made my whole trip better. What I really appreciated was the space; these aren’t your typical cramped hotel rooms where you’re tripping over your suitcase. The living areas are roomy enough that you can actually spread out, and the bedrooms feel separate enough that if you’re traveling with friends or family, you’re not all on top of each other. The Wi-Fi worked fine (always a concern in mountain towns), and the heating was solid – crucial when you’re there in winter and it’s properly cold outside.

Here’s the thing about the location that the booking sites don’t really capture: you’re literally a 5-minute walk from some of the best local restaurants that tourists never find because they’re too busy hitting up the overpriced places on the main strip. There’s this little spot called Karczma Po Zbóju nearby that serves incredible oscypek and zurek – way better than what you’ll get in the touristy areas. Parking was straightforward too, which if you’ve driven in Zakopane during ski season, you know that’s not always a given. The staff was helpful without being overly chatty, which I appreciated after long days hiking or skiing. They knew their stuff about local trails and could actually give you real directions, not just the standard “everything’s close” response you get sometimes. The whole setup works particularly well if you’re planning to stay more than just a night or two – having that apartment feel means you can settle in properly, do some grocery shopping at the Biedronka down the street, and not feel like you’re living out of a hotel room. It’s not luxury by any stretch, but for the price point and the location, it delivers exactly what you’d hope for in Zakopane.
