Apple House in Mykulychyn is a real gem for those seeking comfort among the Carpathian mountains. When I first arrived here last autumn, I didn’t expect such a level of comfort from a small hotel in a mountain village. Located on Tsarina Street 31B, this four-star establishment turned out to be much larger than it seemed in the photos. The staff welcomed us very warmly — check-in went smoothly, even though we arrived late in the evening after a long drive from Kyiv. Parking is free and quite spacious, which is important if you’re traveling by car.
The rooms really impress with their thoughtful design — everything is new, clean, with a beautiful mountain view (at least in my case). I especially loved the bathroom with underfloor heating — after a full day of hiking the surrounding trails, it’s pure salvation. Wi-Fi works stably even on the third floor, which was a pleasant surprise. Breakfast is served until 10:30, and although the selection isn’t huge, everything is fresh and delicious — I especially recommend trying the local cheeses and homemade pastries. The only thing to note is that the hotel is located on a fairly busy street, so if you’re a light sleeper, it’s better to ask for a room facing the inner courtyard.
Overall, Mykulychyn is an ideal base for exploring the region, and Apple House makes staying here truly comfortable. The price is absolutely justified by the quality, especially considering the local location and service level. I’ll definitely return here in spring when everything around blooms — I can imagine how beautiful it must be!
