The apartment itself is surprisingly spacious (I was expecting something cramped based on the photos), and there’s this lived-in comfort that makes you want to actually unpack instead of living out of your suitcase.

The whole Jaszczurówka-Bory area is pretty residential, so you’re not dealing with the drunk tourists stumbling around at 2 AM like you would closer to Krupówki street. Actually, that’s probably my favorite thing about staying here – you can walk into the main tourist chaos in about 15 minutes when you want pierogi and folk music, then retreat back to this quiet little neighborhood when you’ve had enough.

It’s more like staying at a friend’s place who happens to know Zakopane really well. The check-in was straightforward but not fancy, parking is available (which is honestly a blessing in this town), and you’re close enough to the Tatra trails that you can actually see the mountains from some of the windows on clear days. I stayed here in late spring when the crowds weren’t completely insane yet, and there’s something really nice about ending your day somewhere that feels like a home base rather than just another hotel room. The whole setup just works – it’s clean, comfortable, and positioned perfectly for people who want to experience Zakopane without being stuck in the middle of all the tourist madness 24/7.
