Apartments Sonce turned out to be a pleasant surprise during my trip to Truskavets. This three-star hotel is located on Rychki street — quite a quiet area, but still just 10-15 minutes walk to the center and the pump room. Parking here is free (big plus!), although spaces aren’t always available during peak season — better to arrive before 6 PM. The staff is very friendly, check-in went smoothly, and they even gave some useful tips about local restaurants.
The rooms are clean and cozy, though the furniture looks a bit dated — but that’s not critical. I had an apartment with a small kitchen, which is very convenient for longer stays. Hot water was constant, Wi-Fi worked stably (important for work). The only downside — neighbors upstairs were sometimes noisy in the morning, but overall I slept well enough. Windows face the courtyard, so there’s almost no street noise.
The location is really good — close to the park and main sanatoriums, though it’s about 20 minutes walk to the train station (or 5 minutes by taxi for 50-60 UAH). There are several small shops and cafes nearby where you can have breakfast for reasonable money. Overall, for the price-quality ratio Apartments Sonce is quite satisfactory — especially if you’re planning to spend more than two days in Truskavets and want the option to cook for yourself.
