Apartments and Sauna turned out to be a real gem during my trip to Truskavets last autumn. This three-star hotel is located on Lesi Ukrainky Street — a quiet little street, but just a five-minute walk to the center and the pump room with mineral water. Parking here is free (which is rare in resort towns!), although there aren’t that many spots, so it’s better to arrive before evening. Check-in went smoothly, the staff is friendly, though not everyone speaks English.
The apartments are quite spacious — I had a two-room flat with a small kitchen and a balcony overlooking the inner courtyard. The furniture is a bit dated, but everything is clean and functional. The biggest plus is the hotel’s own sauna, which you can book for an additional fee (around 300 hryvnias per hour). After a whole day of walking around the resort, it’s a real blessing for your muscles. Wi-Fi works reliably, which is important if you need to work remotely.
The only downside — neighbors can be quite noisy, especially on weekends when families with children arrive. But if you’re looking for comfortable accommodation with a homey atmosphere and the ability to cook for yourself (which saves quite a bit of money on food), then Apartments and Sauna is a good choice. The 8.0 out of 10 rating is well deserved, especially considering the price-quality ratio for Truskavets.
You'll need to let the property know in advance what time you'll arrive.
