From Krasvill, you can walk to the trailheads in about fifteen minutes, or there’s decent parking if you want to drive to some of the further starting points. The evenings are surprisingly quiet here; you’ll hear more cowbells than car engines, which is either charming or boring depending on what you’re after. I found it pretty perfect for unwinding after long hiking days. The only minor thing I’d mention is that the Wi-Fi can be a bit spotty in some of the rooms – not a huge deal if you’re here to disconnect anyway, but worth knowing if you need to stay connected for work.
