Apartmán s veľkou terasou Luxus Tatry E106
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Termálna 38, I wasn’t sure what to expect from an apartment with such a long name. But honestly? This place surprised me in the best way. The E106 unit sits right in the Tatragolf complex in Veľká Lomnica, and you know what hit me first? That terrace they mention isn’t just marketing fluff – it’s actually massive and faces the right direction to catch those incredible Tatra mountain views, especially in the late afternoon when the light hits the peaks just right.
What I really appreciate about this spot is how it feels like you’re staying in someone’s well-appointed second home rather than a sterile hotel room. The apartment itself has that solid, European build quality – thick walls, proper insulation, good fixtures. I mean, you can actually open the windows without hearing every car that drives by, which is more than I can say for a lot of places. The kitchen’s properly equipped too, not just a mini-fridge and hot plate situation. There’s something satisfying about being able to make your morning coffee while looking out at the High Tatras, then stepping onto that terrace with your cup. The whole Tatragolf area stays pretty quiet in the mornings – you’ll mainly hear birds and maybe the distant sound of early golfers teeing off.
Here’s the thing though – and locals will tell you this – Veľká Lomnica is perfectly positioned if you actually want to explore the region without dealing with the crowds in Poprad or the tourist chaos of Štrbské Pleso. You’re literally a short drive from the cable cars, the hiking trails, and honestly some of the best thermal baths in Slovakia (hence the street name, I suppose). Parking’s never been an issue when I’ve stayed here, which is a genuine relief during peak summer months. The 4-star rating feels about right – it’s comfortable and well-maintained without being flashy. The 8/10 rating makes sense too; it delivers exactly what it promises, though don’t expect someone at a front desk 24/7 since it’s an apartment setup. Check-in was smooth enough, though you’ll want to coordinate timing in advance. What really sells me on this place is that terrace – I’ve spent entire evenings out there just watching the weather roll across the mountains, and during ski season, there’s something magical about having a glass of wine while snow falls on those peaks. It’s the kind of spot where you end up staying longer than planned.
You'll need to let the property know in advance what time you'll arrive.
