HOTEL OVERVIEW
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first rolled up to the APARTHOTEL ROYAL RESORT SPA on Goszczyńskiego Street, I wasn’t expecting much. I mean, aparthotels can be hit or miss, you know? But this place actually surprised me in the best way possible. The building has this sort of modern mountain lodge vibe that doesn’t try too hard to be fancy, which I appreciated. And honestly, the location is pretty sweet – you’re tucked away from the main tourist chaos on Krupówki, but it’s still walkable to everything that matters.
What really got me was how they’ve thought through the little stuff. The apartments themselves are spacious enough that you don’t feel like you’re living in a shoebox (which, let’s face it, happens a lot in Zakopane during peak season). The kitchenettes are actually functional – not just for show – and I ended up using mine way more than I expected. There’s something nice about being able to make your morning coffee without having to get dressed and hunt for a café, especially when you can see the Tatras from your window while you’re doing it. The spa area… well, it’s not huge, but after a day of hiking or skiing, that sauna hits different. I spent more time there than I probably should admit.
The staff genuinely seem to know what they’re doing, which isn’t always a given in resort towns where everyone’s just working the season. They pointed me toward some trails that weren’t completely overrun with tourists – apparently there’s this path that starts just behind the Aqua Park that most visitors miss entirely. Parking was straightforward too, which if you’ve ever tried to park in central Zakopane during summer, you’ll understand why that matters. The only thing I’d mention is that it can get a bit lively in the evenings – not crazy, but you’ll hear some chatter from other guests enjoying themselves on the terraces. Honestly though, it adds to the atmosphere rather than being annoying. I get why this place has such solid ratings – it’s one of those spots that just works without trying to oversell itself.

Nice outdoor pool and spa area. Convenient underground parking. Free coffee/tea from the hosts. Modern everything. Great stay! We will definitely visit again.
