Aparthotel “Mayak Yablunytsia”

Aparthotel “Mayak Yablunytsia” turned out to be a pleasant discovery during our trip to the Carpathians. Located on Horishkiv Street, this three-star hotel sits slightly away from the main tourist hustle of Yablunytsya, which is actually a big advantage — it’s much quieter here, especially in the evenings. Parking is free and right in front of the building, which is very convenient if you’re driving your own car. The studio rooms are quite spacious, with a small kitchen (there’s a fridge, stove, basic dishes), which saves money on restaurants.

The staff is friendly and always ready to suggest hiking routes — the hosts clearly know the local trails. Wi-Fi works stably, hot water is available constantly, which isn’t always guaranteed in mountain hotels. The only downside — the walls are a bit thin, so if neighbors are noisy, you might hear them (but we got lucky). In winter it’s especially cozy here — the heating works well, and the views of snow-covered slopes from the windows are simply wonderful. It’s about 15 minutes by car to Bukovel ski lifts, 5 minutes on foot to the center of Yablunytsya. For this price and quality — I definitely recommend it, especially for those who value peace and don’t need the luxuries of a five-star hotel.
