The apartments themselves are properly set up for people who actually want to, you know, live a bit while they’re there – decent kitchenettes, enough space to spread out your hiking gear, and windows that actually open wide enough to let in that crisp mountain air (which, let me tell you, you’ll want after a day on the trails).

What struck me most was how the place seems to get the balance right between being comfortable and not trying too hard. The furnishings are simple but sturdy – think clean lines and functional pieces rather than trying to be some alpine fantasy. I stayed there in late spring, and honestly, the location turned out to be perfect for my daily routine of grabbing coffee on Krupówki before heading up to Gubałówka or catching the bus to Morskie Oko. The 8 rating makes total sense when you consider what you’re getting for a 3-star place – it’s not luxury, but it delivers on the basics really well. Parking was straightforward (which, if you’ve driven in Zakopane during peak season, you’ll know is actually a big deal), and the check-in process was refreshingly uncomplicated. The only minor thing I’d mention is that the walls aren’t super thick, so if you’re staying during the busy summer months, you might hear your neighbors coming and going – but that’s pretty standard for most places in this price range in the area. I actually ended up recommending it to a couple of friends who were planning their own Tatras trip, mainly because it feels like a place that understands what travelers actually need rather than what some marketing department thinks they want.
