What really got me was how quiet it is up there. You’re maybe a 10-minute walk from all the tourist chaos, but at night you hear crickets instead of drunk groups stumbling back from the bars.

The location is sort of perfect if you know Zakopane at all. You’re close enough to walk down to Krupówki when you want pierogi and shopping, but far enough up the hill that you feel like you’re actually in the mountains. The Tatras loom right there in front of you – on clear mornings you can see Giewont and the whole ridge while having your coffee. Parking isn’t a nightmare like it is in the town center, which anyone who’s driven around Zakopane in summer will appreciate. The owners clearly live locally and know what works – they’ve got all those little touches sorted, like decent WiFi (actually fast enough for video calls), proper heating for shoulder season, and they don’t hassle you with overly complicated check-in procedures. The 9-point rating makes total sense when you consider you’re getting genuine mountain views, real space to spread out, and a location that lets you enjoy Zakopane without being overwhelmed by it. It’s the kind of place you’d book again without hesitation, especially if you’re planning to spend real time in the Tatras rather than just taking selfies on the main drag.
