I mean, when I first pulled up to Wilcza 3A, I wasn’t sure what to expect – the building looked pretty standard from the outside, honestly. But once you get inside these apartments, it’s a completely different story. The space feels way bigger than most mountain accommodations I’ve stayed in, and there’s this really practical setup where you’ve got a proper kitchen (not just a mini-fridge situation) and separate living areas. Perfect if you’re planning to stay more than a couple nights or traveling with family who needs room to spread out.

The location is actually brilliant once you figure out the neighborhood. You’re close enough to the main tourist strip that you can walk to restaurants and the cable car station, but far enough up the hill that you don’t get all the noise from drunk tourists stumbling back to their hotels at 2 AM. I stayed here during shoulder season in late September, and mornings were incredibly peaceful – just the sound of birds and maybe some early hikers heading toward Śnieżka. The 8.9 rating makes total sense because it’s one of those places that gets the basics absolutely right without trying too hard to be fancy. Check-in was smooth, parking wasn’t a nightmare (which, let’s be honest, can be a real issue in Karpacz during peak season), and the apartments are clean without that sterile hotel smell.

What I really appreciated was how the place feels like you’re staying in someone’s well-maintained second home rather than a generic rental. The kitchens are actually stocked with decent cookware – I made breakfast a few mornings and didn’t have to hunt around for a proper coffee pot or sharp knife. The Wi-Fi worked great for video calls back home, and the heating system kept things comfortable even when it got chilly at night. If you’re planning to visit during winter ski season, I’d definitely book early because places like this fill up fast, and honestly, after staying in some of the more tourist-heavy spots closer to the lifts, I’d choose this area again. It’s got that perfect balance where you feel like you’re experiencing the real Karpacz instead of just the resort version of it.
