You know what struck me first about Sun & Snow Hillside? It’s tucked right into this sweet spot on Myśliwska street where you can actually breathe – I mean, Karpacz gets pretty packed during ski season, but this location feels like you’ve found the town’s best-kept secret. The apartments have this modern mountain vibe that doesn’t try too hard, if that makes sense. Clean lines, big windows that frame the Sudeten peaks perfectly, and honestly, the kitchenettes are way better equipped than most places I’ve stayed in the area.
What really gets me is how they’ve nailed the details that matter when you’re actually living somewhere for a few days. The parking situation is solid (which anyone who’s driven around Karpacz in summer will appreciate), and the soundproofing is surprisingly good – you’re not hearing every conversation from the hallway or street noise at 6 AM when the hiking groups start their day. The whole building feels sturdy, not like those thrown-together tourist traps you see everywhere. I was there during shoulder season in early October, and while other places felt a bit abandoned, this spot maintained that welcoming energy. The staff actually knows the area too – they pointed me toward this hiking trail that connects to the Sniezka path but skips the crowds near the lift station.
Here’s the thing about a 9.9 rating – usually I’m skeptical because, come on, nothing’s perfect. But after staying here, I get it. It’s not trying to be some luxury resort with unnecessary bells and whistles. Instead, it just does everything really, really well. The apartments are spacious enough that you’re not tripping over your luggage, the Wi-Fi actually works when you need to upload those mountain photos, and the whole place has this relaxed mountain town feeling without being rustic to the point of inconvenience. Plus, you’re walking distance from the main strip but far enough away that you’re not dealing with the tourist chaos every time you step outside. If you’re planning to explore the Karkonosze National Park or just want a proper base for experiencing this part of the Sudetes, honestly, this is where I’d stay again. The value-to-quality ratio is pretty much unbeatable for what Karpacz typically offers.

What could be improved: Jedynym minusem było to że w łazience, woda bardzo słabo leciała pod prysznicem i śmierdziało jakby z kanalizacji. Sama nie wiem.

Die Wohnung ist ganz neu und sieht genauso aus wie auf den Bildern. Es gibt einen extra Abstellraum für Koffer, im Winter Ski oder ähnliches. Eine Waschmaschine ist im Bad vorhanden. Die Ausstattung in der Küche ist gut. Am besten ein Handtuch für die Küche selbst mitbringen. Ein Mini-Markt ist im gleichen Haus um die Ecke und hat 7 Tage die Woche geöffnet. Bis in den Ort ist es nicht weit, man kann den Weg gut laufen. Der Ausblick aus der Wohnung ins Tal ist sehr schön. Für Familien mit kleinen Kindern gibt es einen Spielplatz in der Nähe des Hauses.

Apartament duży, bardzo wygodny, z dodatkowym pomieszczeniem (gospodarczym) w którym można było schować wszystkie torby po rozpakowaniu i w którym było dodatkowe wyposażenie. Bogato, nowocześnie wyposażona kuchnia (wszystko co potrzeba) z dużą ilością szafek, szuflad. Łazienka wygodna również z dużą ilością szafek (rewelacja). Szafa, półki w każdej sypialni. Cisza i spokój. Super do wypoczynku.
What could be improved: Ew. szczelniejsza, ciemniejsza roleta w sypialni - słońce rano zbyt rozjaśniało , ale to kwestia przyzwyczajeń.

Bardzo przestronny I wygodny apartament. Pełne wyposażenie, w tym pralka i żelazko. Duże, jasne pokoje, super widok na góry, który bardzo dużo dodawał do jakosci mieszkania. Obszerny, oddzielny i zamykany schowek na walizki i górskue buty. Taki rodzaj garderoby na wszystko, co nie musi stać na wierzchu (suszarka, odkurzacz, deska do prasowania itp) dzięki czemu naprawdę było komfortowo. Nowe, markowe sprzęty, a nie tanie odpowiedniki. Wygodne łóżka. Duża łazienka. Zadbana okolica, osiedle gustownych domów na wzgórzu. Nowy i spory plac zabaw i siłownia pod chmurka. Gdybym miał wrócić do Karpacza, skorzystałbym z tego mieszkania ponownie.
What could be improved: Jedyne czego brakuje to klimatyzacja. Nawet w niezbyt upalne dni było bardzo gorąco i nie pomagało całonocne wietrzenie. Generalnie było bardzo czysto, ale okna wołały o dokładne umycie, co dość mocno rzucało się w oczy z racji na wschodnie usytuowane okien.
Druga sprawa to podjazd. Około 100 metrowy odcinek był bardzo stromy i bardzo nierówny, bo była to dziurawa droga szutrowa. Nawet dla suva nie był to łatwy podjazd. Potem był już szlaban i przestronny parking.
