You know what caught me off guard about Apartamenty sudeckie nad zalewem IV? The name makes it sound like some generic apartment complex, but honestly, this place is something special. I mean, when you pull up to ul. Tęczowa 3 in Marczyce – and yeah, the GPS might get a little confused since this area feels pretty tucked away – you’re not expecting much. But then you see the reservoir stretching out right there, and it all clicks.
The thing about this spot is that it sits right on this gorgeous lake (or zalew, as the locals call it), and I’m talking proper waterfront views, not some distant glimpse through trees. The apartments themselves are surprisingly well done – clean lines, modern fixtures, but not in that sterile way that makes you feel like you’re in a showroom. There’s actual character here. The hosts clearly put thought into the details, from the kitchen setup (which actually has everything you need, not just the basics) to the way the windows frame the water views. And speaking of those views… honestly, I spent way too much time just standing on the balcony with my morning coffee, watching the mist lift off the water.
What really sold me on this place – beyond that 9.7 rating, which now makes total sense – is how it captures that perfect balance between being close enough to civilization but far enough to actually unwind. Marczyce isn’t exactly a bustling metropolis, but that’s the point. You’re in this peaceful pocket of Lower Silesia where the biggest decision is whether to take a walk along the water or just stay put and read a book. The parking situation is straightforward (no hunting for spots), the check-in was smooth, and the whole setup just works. I’d definitely come back, especially in late spring when everything’s green but before the summer crowds discover this little gem.

Bardzo ładnie urządzone pokoje jak i cały obiekt. Budynki odrestaurowane z ogromnym wyczuciem i pomysłem. Zawsze doceniam takie miejsca! W mieszkaniu ciepło, wygodnie, dostępne wszystko co potrzebne. Właściciel opowiedział nam też nieco na temat historii tego miejsca, jest klimat!

Świetny kontakt z gospodarzem obiektu. Miejsce czyste, świetnie urządzone, pełne wyposażenie kuchenne. Na miejscu czekała na nas butelka wina, która była bardzo miłą niespodzianką oraz biblioteczka z przewodnikami po górach.
