The conversion from stable to accommodation was done with this rustic-meets-modern approach that actually works – exposed wooden beams overhead, but you’ve got proper heating and a surprisingly good kitchen setup. What really impressed me was how quiet it gets at night; I mean, coming from any city, the silence is almost startling. The owners clearly put thought into the little things too – there’s proper blackout curtains (essential if you’re trying to sleep in during summer when sunrise hits around 5 AM), and the bathroom has this great rainfall shower that feels way more luxurious than you’d expect in a converted farm building.

The location is genuinely perfect if you’re looking to explore the Sudeten region without dealing with tourist crowds. Milków is maybe a ten-minute drive, and from there you can easily reach the more popular spots like Karpacz or Szklarska Poręba, but honestly? Some of the best hiking trails start practically from the doorstep. There’s this network of marked paths that wind through the forests and up into the hills – locals use them, but most tourists never find them. Parking is never an issue (there’s a gravel area right by the building), and the check-in process was refreshingly straightforward. The hosts speak decent English, which helps, and they’re the type who’ll give you actual recommendations rather than just pointing you toward the obvious tourist spots. That 9.8 rating makes sense once you stay here – it’s not fancy in a five-star hotel way, but it delivers exactly what it promises: genuine peace and quiet in a landscape that feels untouched by mass tourism.
