Overview
You know what caught me off guard about Apartamenty Skarpa? The name literally means “escarpment apartments,” and honestly, it’s spot-on – this place sits on this gorgeous sloping area in Mysłakowice that gives you these unexpectedly beautiful views of the surrounding Karkonosze foothills. I mean, when you first pull up to 1 Maja 3C, it doesn’t look like much from the street, but once you’re inside one of these apartments, you start to get why this place has such a crazy good 9.2 rating.
The apartments themselves feel like someone actually lives there – and I don’t mean that in a “hasn’t been cleaned” way, but more like they’re thoughtfully set up with real furniture instead of that generic hotel stuff. The kitchens are properly equipped (I’m talking full-size fridges and decent cookware), which is clutch because Mysłakowice isn’t exactly bursting with late-night dining options. What really impressed me was how quiet it gets at night – you’re close enough to the center that you can walk to the local spots, but far enough from the main tourist drag that you’re not dealing with tour buses rumbling by at 7 AM. The building itself has this solid, no-nonsense feel that’s pretty typical of Polish construction, and parking is actually straightforward, which anyone who’s driven around European mountain towns will appreciate.
Here’s the thing about staying in Mysłakowice instead of Karpacz or Szklarska Poręba – you’re getting authentic Sudeten mountain town vibes without the crowds and inflated prices. From Skarpa, you can hit the hiking trails toward Chojnik Castle in about fifteen minutes by car, or if you’re feeling ambitious, there’s a trail that connects right from town. The staff clearly knows the area well; they gave me these specific directions to a viewpoint that definitely wasn’t in any guidebook I’d seen. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – none of that overly formal hotel lobby experience, just practical people who want to make sure you know where everything is. The only minor thing I’d mention is that the wifi can get a bit spotty during peak evening hours, probably because everyone’s streaming after their day hikes, but honestly, that might be a feature rather than a bug depending on what kind of trip you’re after. If you’re looking for a genuine base to explore the Polish Sudetes without feeling like you’re in a tourist bubble, this is exactly the kind of place that delivers.

We came here for a week of snowboarding. We were a family with two dogs. The owner is very sweet, friendly and pleasant. She brought us two grills and treated the animals well. Very beautiful apartments, very comfortable and clean, huge area, terrace where you can grill and sit on the table. There is everything you need (dinnerware, towels, bathroom accessories) A 10-minute walk from the house there is a large field and forests, it’s great to walk there with the dog. There is a wonderful restaurant within a 15-minute walk where the food is very tasty!
What could be improved: Minuses: Cold floor, especially in the bathroom :( if we had known, we took slippers with us, our feet were cold, even when the house was warm. (But this is only for people who are cold, since the children who were with us were not cold😅 Only for us, we are lovers of warmth)
There are no batteries and nowhere to dry wet clothes, we were snowboarding, we arrived very wet and there was nowhere to dry them, the next day we had to go in wet clothes and it’s terribly unpleasant (
Wi-Fi is normal, but if you plan to work, and especially have calls, this is not your option)

I had an incredible stay at a nice, spacious, and clean apartment with a large garden, conveniently located near the main attractions. Highly recommended!
What could be improved: However, it's worth noting that there were some minor issues, such as cracked plates and slightly thin walls.

Very clean and cosy

The localisation was okay.
What could be improved: Overall the house was clean but there were spiders in the bathroom and one of the bedrooms. There was a missing tv remote in one of the rooms (we had to ask for it). We’ve asked for an extra bed but it was placed in the middle of the kitchen which was very uncomfortable for both the person sleeping and people who wanted to eat breakfast at that time. Even though it was claimed that the house is available for 6 people, it’s only comfortable for 3 or maximum 4. The description said that there was a coffee machine included but there was none (when we asked for it the lady claimed that the coffee brewer was the same as a coffee machine…).

Pěkný výhled na hory, velká zahrada, klidná lokalita s malým provozem.
What could be improved: Zmatek ohledně skutečného čísla apartmánu/domu (3E) a čísla v rezervaci z portálu (3C). Informační e-mail s číslem apartmánu od ubytování přišel až v den příjezdu, nakonec vše rychle vyjasněno po telefonu.

Nowoczesny budynek w bardzo spokojnej, cichej okolicy z pięknym widokiem na góry. Właścicielka miła i kontaktowa, całkiem wygodne łóżka i dobrze wyposażona kuchnia. Wszyscy uczestnicy byli bardzo zadowoleni.

Duża przestrzeń, wygodne łóżka, świetny widok z okna na Karkonosze.
Dobry kontakt z właścicielem. bardzo czysto - wszystko jeszcze praktycznie nowe.
What could be improved: Bardzo słaby Internet.
Brak jakichkolwiek grzejników (ogrzewanie całościowo podłogowe) - zimą z dziećmi nie ma gdzie wysuszyć rękawiczek, czapek itp.
