I stayed during shoulder season in late September, and while it was quiet, I imagine summer gets busier with families heading to the nearby hiking trails. The location works particularly well if you’re planning day trips – you’re close enough to Zakopane for the tourist stuff but far enough away that you escape the crowds and inflated prices. Actually, one of the local bus routes runs pretty regularly if you don’t want to deal with parking in town, though I’d recommend having a car if you really want to explore the area properly.
