I mean, you can still hear a bit of the town buzz during peak season, but it’s more like a gentle hum than actual noise pollution.

The apartments themselves – well, they’re doing something right with that 9.7 rating, and after staying there, I get it. These aren’t your cookie-cutter hotel rooms where everything’s bolted down and painted beige. The spaces actually feel like someone lives there (in the best way), with proper kitchens that have real cooking equipment, not just a sad little kettle and instant coffee setup. The owners clearly understand that people want to grab some local bread and maybe cook breakfast without having to venture out every single morning – especially when you’re planning those early hikes up to Śnieżka or just want to take your time getting ready. What really impressed me was the attention to small details: decent water pressure in the showers, blackout curtains that actually block light, and enough electrical outlets that you’re not playing musical chairs with your phone charger and laptop.

The location thing is honestly the biggest win here. You’re basically positioned perfectly for exploring the Karkonosze mountains without being stuck in the middle of nowhere, and parking – which can be a nightmare in this town during summer and ski season – isn’t the usual headache you’d expect. I walked to the gondola station in about ten minutes, hit the local grocery store for supplies without needing to drive, and when I wanted a proper dinner out, there were actually some decent restaurants within stumbling distance. The check-in process was refreshingly straightforward too – none of that waiting around in a lobby while they “find your reservation” drama. It’s the kind of place where you can tell the people running it actually care about whether you have a good time, not just whether you pay your bill and leave quietly.
