The location on ul. Nad Łomnicą is actually perfect if you know Karpacz at all. You’re literally right by the Łomnica River (hence the street name), and I loved falling asleep to the sound of water flowing. It’s close enough to the main drag that you can walk to restaurants and the cable car station without breaking a sweat, but far enough from the tourist chaos that you won’t have drunk groups stumbling past your window at 2 AM. The building itself sits in this quiet residential pocket – mostly locals and other apartment rentals, so it has that authentic mountain town vibe rather than feeling like a hotel district.

But here’s the real selling point: that sauna situation is no joke. After spending days hiking in the Krkonoše mountains (and let’s be honest, your legs will be screaming), having a proper sauna right there in your accommodation is basically heaven. The apartments themselves are surprisingly spacious – I stayed in what I think was a one-bedroom unit, and the living area actually felt like a living area, not some cramped afterthought with a fold-out couch. The kitchen was functional enough that I could make real meals instead of surviving on overpriced restaurant food, which in Karpacz can add up fast, especially during ski season. The whole setup reminded me more of staying at a friend’s mountain cabin than a typical hotel room, if that makes sense.

I will say the check-in process was a bit different – you’re dealing with apartment-style key pickup rather than a traditional front desk, so make sure you coordinate arrival times ahead of time. And while the 9.2 rating definitely feels accurate, don’t expect luxury resort amenities. This is more about comfort and location than fancy extras. The WiFi worked fine for basic stuff, parking was straightforward (which is actually a big deal in Karpacz), and the whole place just felt clean and well-maintained. What really impressed me was how quiet it stayed even when the building seemed pretty full – good soundproofing between units, which you don’t always get with apartment rentals. If you’re planning to visit during peak summer hiking season or winter ski months, definitely book early because places like this – with that combination of location, space, and the sauna bonus – fill up fast with people who actually know the area rather than just first-time tourists.
