The name made me expect some cheesy romantic getaway, but honestly, this place is just really well-done apartments that happen to have one of the best locations in Karpacz. I mean, when you’re literally on Obrońców Pokoju street, you’re basically in the heart of everything without being stuck in tourist chaos.

The building sits on this slight elevation – that’s the “na Skale” (on the rock) part – which actually gives you decent views depending on which unit you get. I stayed there in early spring when the crowds hadn’t hit yet, and the setup is perfect for people who want apartment-style space but hotel-level cleanliness. The kitchenettes are actually functional, not those tiny hotel things where you can barely make coffee. And speaking of coffee, there’s a decent little café about two minutes down the street if you don’t feel like brewing your own. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night – Karpacz can get pretty rowdy during peak season, but this spot manages to feel removed from the party zone while still being walkable to everything.

The 9.4 rating makes total sense once you stay there. It’s not flashy or trying too hard, but everything just… works. The apartments are modern without being sterile, the beds are actually comfortable (I’m picky about this), and whoever manages the place clearly gives a damn about maintenance. Plus, if you’re planning to explore the Karkonosze mountains – which, let’s be honest, is why you’re in Karpacz anyway – you can literally see some of the trailheads from certain windows. I found myself using the apartment as a proper base camp, coming back between hikes to shower and regroup rather than just crashing at the end of the day. The only minor thing is that parking can get tight during summer weekends, but that’s pretty much everywhere in Karpacz. If you’re coming in shoulder season or can snag a spot early in the day, you’re golden.
