First Impressions

When I first pulled up to Apartamenty GREEN – Stay Lux, I’ll be honest — the modern building on Droga Na Bystre doesn’t scream “mountain getaway” from the outside. But you know what? Sometimes the best places are the ones that surprise you. This three-star property sits in one of Zakopane’s quieter residential areas, and after spending a few days here, I actually preferred it to the chaos closer to Krupówki Street. The free parking right on site was already winning me over before I even checked in.

Location & Getting Around

Here’s the thing about this spot — it’s about a 10-minute walk to the main tourist strip, but that distance is actually perfect. You’re close enough to easily grab dinner or hit the bars, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with crowds of tourists stumbling past your window at midnight. The location gets a 9.6 rating from guests, and I can see why. You’re also surprisingly close to some of the better hiking trails that lead toward Gubałówka, which most visitors don’t realize until they start exploring the neighborhood.

The Apartment Experience

The apartment itself feels more like staying at a friend’s place than a typical hotel room. I mean, you’ve got a proper kitchen with everything you need — not just a mini-fridge and microwave situation. The space is clean and modern, though don’t expect anything fancy or Instagram-worthy. It’s functional in the best way possible, especially if you’re planning to cook some meals instead of eating out every night (which, honestly, your wallet will thank you for in Zakopane). The Wi-Fi actually works well, and the heating keeps things comfortable even when it’s freezing outside.

What Makes It Special

What really sets this place apart is how it caters to couples without being overly romantic or cheesy about it. The space feels intimate without being cramped, and there’s something nice about having your own little setup away from the hotel crowd.
