Apartamenty EverySky Kowary, Blue z widokiem na góry i windą
You know what really caught me off guard about EverySky Kowary Blue? The elevator. I mean, it sounds silly, but when you’re hauling luggage up to a mountain apartment after a day of hiking in the Karkonosze, that little detail becomes huge. The place sits right on 1 Maja street – honestly, you can’t miss it – and the mountain views from these apartments are the kind that make you stop mid-conversation and just stare. I’m talking proper Sudeten peaks framed perfectly in those big windows, especially if you snag one of the higher floors.
The whole setup feels more like staying at a friend’s place than some sterile hotel room. These aren’t tiny cramped spaces either – the apartments actually have room to spread out, which is refreshing after dealing with those shoebox hotel rooms you get in bigger cities. Kowary itself is this quiet little town that most people just drive through on their way to Karpacz, but that’s honestly part of its charm. You’ve got the Kolorowe Jeziorka trail starting practically from your doorstep (well, a short drive), and if you’re into the whole mining history thing, the old uranium mine tours are genuinely fascinating – though definitely not for everyone. The 9.5 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there; it’s one of those places where all the small things just work. Check-in was smooth, the Wi-Fi actually functioned properly, and the kitchenette had everything you’d actually need, not just the bare minimum.
What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night – you’re close enough to the town center that you can walk to that decent pizza place on the main street, but far enough from any real traffic that you’ll sleep well. The only thing I’d mention is that Kowary can feel pretty sleepy if you’re expecting nightlife, but if you’re there for hiking, skiing at Szklarska Poręba (about 20 minutes away), or just wanting to decompress somewhere with actual mountain air, it hits differently. Plus, the fact that you’ve got a proper apartment means you can grab groceries at the local Żabka and make breakfast while watching the morning light hit those peaks. It’s the kind of place that makes you consider extending your stay by a day or two – and honestly, the rates make that tempting.
