Staszica isn’t one of those main tourist drags where you’ll hear people stumbling back from bars at 2 AM, but you’re still close enough to walk to the cable car stations without breaking a sweat. The Royal Aparts people clearly know what they’re doing with the management side too – check-in was smooth, none of that awkward “meet me at a random corner with cash” situation you sometimes get with vacation rentals.

Honestly, the 9.2 rating makes sense once you spend a few days here. The kitchens are actually functional (I’ve stayed in places where they give you two burners and call it gourmet), and there’s enough space to store groceries if you’re planning to cook some meals – which, let’s be real, you probably should since restaurant prices in Karpacz can add up fast. The whole setup works especially well if you’re here for more than just a weekend ski trip. I stayed during shoulder season in late spring, and it was perfect for hiking the Karkonosze trails – you come back tired and muddy, and having that extra space to decompress beats cramming into a tiny hotel room. Plus parking isn’t the nightmare it can be closer to the town center, which your back will thank you for when you’re hauling ski gear or hiking boots around. The mountain views from some of the units are solid too, though I’d ask specifically about that when booking since not all of them face the same direction. It’s the kind of place where you can actually settle in for a few days and feel like you’re living there, not just passing through.
