What I loved is that you’re positioned perfectly for hitting the trails. The cable car to Kasprowy Wierch? Easy reach. Want to do the Morskie Oko hike? You’re not adding an extra hour of travel time like you would from some of the places closer to town. Plus, and this is key – parking is included and it’s actual assigned spots, not some vague promise of “street parking available.” Trust me, during peak season, that’s worth its weight in gold. The hosts seem to genuinely care about the place too, which shows in little ways. Fresh flowers in the common areas, local hiking maps available at reception, and they’ll actually give you decent restaurant recommendations that aren’t just the tourist traps. That 9-point rating isn’t an accident – it’s what happens when someone runs a place like they’d want to stay there themselves.
