I actually found myself spreading out my stuff for once instead of living out of a bag. The kitchenette is properly equipped too, which honestly saved me a fortune since eating out in the Sudetes can add up quickly. There’s a decent grocery store about a five-minute walk down the street if you want to grab some local bread and cheese.

The thing that really sets this place apart though – and I’m not just saying this because they have a perfect rating – is how the staff treats you like they’re genuinely happy you’re there. Check-in was smooth, no weird restrictions about noise or guests, and when I couldn’t figure out the shower controls (they’re fancy, but not intuitive), someone came up within minutes to show me the trick. You can tell they’ve thought about what actual travelers need. The Wi-Fi actually works throughout the apartment, there are plenty of outlets near the bed, and the blackout curtains are properly installed so you can sleep in if you’ve been hiking all day. Plus, parking is included and easy – no circling the block or paying extra fees. If you’re planning to explore the Karkonosze mountains or just need a solid base in Kowary that doesn’t feel like a sterile hotel room, this is honestly your best bet.
