HOTEL OVERVIEW

So here’s the thing about Apartamenty Ciche Wzgórze – the name literally means “Quiet Hill Apartments,” and honestly, they nailed it. I mean, you’re still in Zakopane, but this spot on Za Cieszynianką feels like you’ve stepped away from all the tourist chaos without actually missing out on anything. It’s one of those places where you can actually hear birds in the morning instead of just tour buses rumbling past your window.

The location is pretty clever, actually. You’re tucked into this residential area that most visitors never discover, but you’re still close enough to walk into the main part of town when you want pierogi or to browse those wooden souvenirs everyone’s obligated to buy. What I really appreciated was the parking situation – and trust me, if you’ve ever tried to park near Krupówki during peak season, you know this isn’t a small thing. The apartments themselves have that clean, unfussy vibe that works so much better than trying too hard to be rustic-chic. The kitchenettes are actually functional (shocking, I know), and the Wi-Fi doesn’t give up the moment more than two people try to use it.

You know what really sold me on this place though? The whole setup just makes sense for how people actually travel now. Sometimes you want to grab breakfast at that little place down the street, sometimes you want to make coffee in your pajamas and plan your hiking route without rushing. The staff gets this – they’re not hovering, but they’re genuinely helpful when you need local intel, like which trails are actually worth the effort or where to get groceries that don’t cost tourist prices. And the quiet factor is real – I was there during a busy weekend in summer, and while the main streets were absolutely packed, this little pocket of Zakopane felt almost sleepy. The 9-star rating isn’t some fluke either; it’s the kind of place that delivers exactly what it promises without any weird surprises or “amenities” that don’t actually work. If you’re the type who values a good night’s sleep and space to spread out your stuff (and maybe dry some hiking gear), this beats cramming into a hotel room in the town center, hands down.

The flat is in a beautiful location with views onto both Giewont and Zakopane from its 2 (!) balconies. It is very clean and comfortable -- had everything we needed for a family holiday. Highly recommended.

The apartment was very spacious and modern and there was a lovely view from our bedroom window. The bed was really comfortable. The balcony was very nice and had a good view. In fact, our apartment had 2 balconies. Unfortunately, the one which was mostly shady did not have outdoor furniture, although you could take the dining chairs out instead, which suited us fine. The breakfast was delivered in a box each morning and had a good selection of bread, meats, cheese, and salad. Also, coffee, tea, butter. There was only cream for coffee, though, so if you want milk in your tea, you need to buy that. I would have preferred some fresh fruit, yoghurt, croissant, and jam, though. But that is more personal taste. The apartment seems to be well equipped for making meals. A toaster and coffee maker would have been more useful to us as we only ate breakfast in the apartment, but it was lovely place with a great host.

Amazing place and location 😻 The service was great, 100% privacy 👌🏻”spa and relax and game zone” made a huge impression, places were clean, sauna works great, jacuzzi also. We had an amazing stay at this apartment, we stayed for 4 nights and went skiing in the nearby slopes. The views from the balcony are amazing. We booked a room with the jacuzzi bath which was an added bonus, very relaxing after a day of skiing. However, the apartment also has a hot tub and a sauna downstairs that can be used until late in the evening - also very clean and well maintained.

The apartment is in a beautiful area. It is clean and comfortable. The city center is about 15 minutes even with kids on foot. The spa is excellent there was always space for us when we went there although the apartment house was almost full. So its size is ideal. The host was kind and helpful.

Stayed here since it was close to the border after a long drive from Belgium. Very relaxing and convenient for onward journey the next day. Small chalet but very suitable for our needs. Quiet, clean, car parking, excellent breakfast.
