Апартаменты центр Солнечное Закарпатье turned out to be a real gem in Polyana — I didn’t expect such a level of comfort from a three-star accommodation! Located right on Kurortnaya 1, these apartments became the perfect base for exploring Transcarpathia. The owner met us personally (which is rare these days), showed us all the details of the place and even recommended the best mountain routes. The apartment is more spacious than it seemed in the photos — a full kitchen where you can cook after hikes, a comfortable living room with a soft sofa, and most importantly — excellent soundproofing, even though the city center is nearby.

I especially liked that everything you need is within walking distance: shops, cafes, bus station — but the windows face a quiet courtyard, so nothing disturbs your sleep. Parking wasn’t a problem either, although during peak season (July-August) it’s better to clarify in advance. The kitchen is equipped with everything necessary: refrigerator, stove, dishes — after a full day in the mountains we cooked dinner ourselves, saving money on restaurants. Wi-Fi works reliably, which is important for uploading photos from hikes. The hosts are very responsive — when we had questions about transport to Dragobrat, they immediately helped with contacts and schedules.

The 8.0 rating is well deserved — it’s hard to find something better for this price in central Polyana. Of course, this isn’t a luxury hotel, but home-style apartments, and that’s exactly their advantage. You don’t feel like a tourist in a sterile room, but like a guest in a cozy Transcarpathian home. We’ll definitely return here, especially in winter — curious to see how it is during ski season.
