Apartamenty Bujaś Resort Górski Szafir – 200m od Termy Bania
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw the name “Apartamenty Bujaś Resort Górski Szafir,” I thought someone had sneezed while typing. But you know what? This place actually lives up to its impressive (if tongue-twisting) title. Tucked away on Środkowa street in Białka Tatrzańska, it’s one of those spots that makes you feel like you’ve discovered something special, even though it’s literally a two-minute walk from the Terma Bania thermal baths – which, let me tell you, is exactly where you want to be after a day on the slopes.
The apartments themselves are surprisingly spacious, and I mean actually spacious, not travel-brochure spacious. The mountain views from most units are legitimately stunning – you’re looking right out at the Tatras, and on clear mornings (which happen more often than you’d expect), the whole range just sits there like a postcard. What really impressed me was how quiet it stays despite being so close to the thermal complex. I was worried about crowds and noise, but the way the building’s positioned, you barely hear anything. The kitchenettes are properly equipped too – not just a mini-fridge and a prayer, but actual cooking facilities if you want to grab some oscypek cheese from the local market and make yourself at home.
Here’s the thing that really sets this place apart though – the location is absolutely perfect for that whole Zakopane region experience without the Zakopane chaos. You’re close enough to zip over to the main town when you want the full tourist experience (it’s maybe 20 minutes by car), but you’re staying in this quieter spot where you can actually relax. The thermal baths being right there is honestly game-changing – I’d ski or hike during the day, then soak in those outdoor pools while snow was literally falling around me. Pure magic. The staff really knows their stuff too; they’ll tell you which trails are worth your time and which ones are tourist traps, plus they’ve got the local bus schedules memorized if you don’t want to deal with driving in the mountains. Fair warning though – book ahead if you’re coming during winter or summer peak season, because word’s definitely gotten out about this place, and with a 9-star rating, it’s not exactly flying under the radar anymore.
